The forum bites big brother, once again.

Yesterday, we had...............crosswinds! Looked more like De Panne than Italy.
Peloton blown into 3, with Ricco in the rear. De Rosa did much of the damage.
Front group of just 18, of which, Liquigas had 4 including the GC leader.
Winner Kump interviewed in English.

I might be wrong, but is much of De Rosa Stac Plastic constructed from the former husk of what was LPR, that is minus Bosisio, Di Luca and Petacchi? They've had some decent results in what is a young season, with Roberto Ferrari scoring two victories so far.

Where did Bosisio go to? Lampre? Or was he Di Luca's man rather than Petacchi's, I can't remember.

So Liquigas absolutely tearing it up this season- have to accomodate even more talent in their racing calendar.

Nice for ISD to get something out of this, their opportunities having been set back a lot by thir exclusion from the Giro.

Everyone interested to see how Ricco would go, and his form was good. Would likely have been second had he not been caught out by the split on the penultimate stage.

Same team, different sponsor.

Just like Di Luca, he's sitting at home enjoying a nice 2 year suspension for CERA use. Unlike Di Luca, he didn't have a pre-contract for this season signed with Lampre.

Sucka Serpa again.
ISD away for the win, but behind, Pozzovivo and Ricco catch the Columbian and are away from the group on the final ascent of the Montegibbio.
Serpa just won't come through. A lot of shouting and arm waving from the other pair, but he kills the break dead.
It even seemed to me that he may have made the universal (thumb and forefinger rub) sign for cash, before he noticed the camera on him....
