Het is wel grappig dat je denkt van wel natuurlijk, want het bewijst het tegendeel van wat je juist zei![]()
Ik baseer me spijtig genoeg niet op nationaliteit om fan van iemand te zijn.

lanternrouge said:Not half as bad as watching that squeaky voiced **** chin gurn his way to victory clambering all over his bike like the stupid mtb'er that he is. A few days ago you were gloating that the convicts were superior to GB in every way, how is that working out for you now then? GB top the medal table as well
Payback is a ***** ain't it, now stop whining and suck it up.

omg, that is pretty dumb comment. So you comment on the way he looks and his tone of voice to criticise him? Pretty immature if you ask me. Just because Great Britain wins a few world championships does not make the superior all of a sudden. They have had a great year this year but lets not go over the top trying to say they are world beaters. Don't be a silly (hopefully I won't get an infraction for calling Laterne Rouge silly)

Chuzhda attacking from the start
Roux in a televised break
Bert and Froome organising the pace on the peloton
Crash near the front of the peloton holding up some of the favourites
Bak giving it everything in front of a massive home crowd
Voeckler with his race face on up the road
Hoogerland with a 0.01% chance of success entertainment break
Belgian riders flying off the front at every opportunity
TT silver medallist hammering the course without the peloton in his wheel
Australian breaking the GB lead out train
TT bronze medallist outsprinting many of the worlds fastest men
Just some of the things that made this a memorable worlds for me. Perhaps that is all boring?
Kittel, Farrar and Sagan will be kicking themselves for missing out on such an easy race.
Dekker_Tifosi said:Yes, the fact you can sum it up in a few lines really says everything about this worlds.
Try it with Geelong, Mendrisio and Varese and you need a bookwork to describe what happened

daveinzambia said:Skin suit, i was not checking closely enough. The helmet, we finally get a winner and he crosses the line with that on his head. Now all the kids will be wearing them.
did make him easier to spot in the bunch.
see that one at the back of the line, he is the favorite. the one in blue and red behind the other guys in the same kit. yes the one that looks a little like a condom riding a bike, thats him.

hrotha said:This thread baffles me for two reasons. Firstly, because the Danish forumers are being so defensive and reacting so strongly to the comments against the course (which sucked), as if they were attacks on Denmark as a whole. And secondly, because some veteran forumers still can't detect blatant trolling attempts.
Sørensen said:Well It's not so nice to be remembered for the "worst" WC ever... I as a dane would ofc. prefer if this was something cycling fans would look back at with joy. Anyway was not to be, and I think we all agree that the course wasent the best.
What I oppose against is statements like "DK as a nation is not fit to host a wc etc. Which is just plain wrong.. In fact i think they showed that a small nation is capable of hosting such an event and just a tiny bit of respect should go to the huge crowds turning up and making this event a great party, despite the course and the race apparently being the worst in the history of cycling... Most of Copenhagen city centre has been shut down for a week, affecting thousands of people who has to travel to jobs etc. but the majority has taken it in good spirit and has embraced and supported it, and hopefully it will have given cycling as a sport a boost in DK and Scandinavia.
