Germany going to be a big threat at the worlds

They'll be taking a big team, with Kloeden and Martin both having good seasons. hopefully there isn't a conflict over the top slot between Greipel and Degenkolb. Degenkolb has the better claim at the moment.

You guys should limit your expectations a bit.

Ok that's it... We should limit our expectations???

Can we just please ignore his troll posts now? I like discussion and a bit of trolling can be fun, but this guy is a complete looney. He just says crazy stuff to troll. Everyone goes crazy and replies and he just adds new crazy statements with every post. Ignore it... only reply if he seems to make sense.

What's worse is that Bavarian is creating an anti-Martin/Degenkolb mood by making all those crazy posts.

Since Bav showed up here I've started to get a disliking for Martin. And that just sucks for Martin because he can't help it. I try to to look at him objectively, but when I see him all those crazy statements Bavarian makes keep popping up in my head.
If this goes on the same thing will happen for Degenkolb.

:D

It happened in other forums already. Wondering if the TM troll here is the same as there...

Martin had a great season already. There is really no need to start useless hypes.

But can Degenkolb cope with the distance? we don't know that yet...

Degenkolb is certainly a very promising rider. I'm especially impressed by his ability to place himself in a sprint, and then hit the front at the right time. And his top speed is impressive as well. A little bit of Zabel, a little bit of Freire, a little bit of Hushovd, a little bit of Boonen. Let's hope he won't turn into another Ciolek, as mentioned several times on this forum.

Nope, he doesn't. That's why he only finished 19th in his first ever Paris-Roubaix. Pretty bad. ;)

Not as long but there was the Rund um den Finanzpatz as well. A challenging race.

(Race with the best video ever)

All that shows is that he can't handle the distance yet, so will probably not be able to handle the distance at the Worlds as well.

 Is your point that only Vansummeren could handle the distance? Didn't Degenkolb have a mechanical in that race as well?

17 other people were in front of Degenkolb.

Yes he's a big talent, but I've seen much bigger talents than him. For example a guy that came third in his very first Paris-Roubaix.

Nothing what he has done this season convinces me he can handle long distances already.
