wow BMC are really invisible.

no offense, but I don't get it your surprise. What makes you think this team has anything in the mountains. It is by far (or sprinting) their weakest point.

ivan basso easily at the front, perfect training for him

Not too worried about him. He still has about 4 weeks to get in shape for the mts in the tdf. He said he was one week behind... With some hard racing here, he might be able to gain back time lost (re his training schedule).

Just 85 kms left. Make that another very early finish, say 17-10CET.
That's only 50 minutes earlier than expected.

We had a super fast Giro. My mind boggles at the prospect of Le Tour average speeds.
Of course, everything is squeaky clean nowadays.

posts like these really annoy me, pls go to the clinic with any of this bullsh*t clearly you never raced on a bike because even at novices and juniors you could have speeds of 48 for the first hours, it's just the way of racing. averages mean almost nothing only of how hard a race was but not the level of competition or doping.

If you cannot take the occasional jokey comment then maybe you should not watch cycling in the first place.
