Tommy Voeckler will win from the break.

Edit. I see Dekker_Tifosi, in an uncharacteristic moment of clarity, has made the same prediction. :)

In case people think I am picking some rider who probably does not exist, in this race I meant Voeckler in my post.

Gesink with conquer with an attack on the finale, only Tony Martin will hang and Tony will take the yellow jersey and carry it all the way to the end. :p

Where do you see Tony getting the time he is allready behind Gesink if Gesink wins the stage? ;)

OOh Dauphine already seems more exciting than last year!

There will be a group of 60-70 at the finish. But unless someone controls it over the "climb" an attacker(s) should be able to get away for the win. Boom will lose enough time to Vino and Evans in the last km, so there's not much point Rabo controlling it unless Martens or Gesink want to have a go. BMC and Katusha will be the teams who should be driving it.

If it's together it will be the usual suspects. I would lean Evans, but maybe Benat or Rui Costa to surprise.

thats exactly who I predict will have a stoush. Cadel seems alot more willing to attack on these types of stages over the last couple of years. Thats what made the 2010 Giro so entertaining. Vino will always have a go and both him and Cadel have had some entertaining duals recently on these types of finishes.

Cadel has it over Vino in the high climbs however, but hopefully there is a nice battle during today's stage.

Vino will go for the double

Vino is a good suggestion and he could definitely win today. J-Rod aswell I think.

Vino will definetly have a go. Should be an entertaining stage. This type of terrain proveds for attacking racing. Suits fedrigo quite well though if it comes back togetther for a group sprint then Evans is my tip.

Wish I could watch this stage.

i don't see the mt finish as selective enough for the gc guys with diesel (like gesink). i expect purito, vino and/or evans to go on the attack ...

Has Boom got any chance of holding on to a top 10 place today?

Vino in yellow tomorrow!

usually yes, he is not bad on hills, or was when he was younger anyway, but he is suffering from injury so maybe not.

I do love Kadri ( unrealistically hyped him up for classics though ) and i hope for Samu to put in a good attack. Worrying by Martin in ITT and Taaramae. What happened to Malori as well?????

He's also much heavier than his younger, more climby days. So I think not.

I'd have to say +1.

If there is any type of racing going on on that last hill, he won't be able to keep the jersey. Vino has a good chance to snatch it.

Boom should really keep his focus on prologues and small stage races, he can rack up some serious wins that way. His talent is undeniable. Curious to see his record of achievements at the end of his career, especially classic-wise.
