This is going to be absolute carnage judging by the intermediate times so far.

On another note, it appears that Tyler Farrar has taken a copy of a newspaper, a coffee and a croissant around the course with him. He's on course to finish ten minutes behind Tony Martin.

There's also Sivtsov riding, despite not being scheduled to start for the next 90 minutes. Oh well.

He's even passed the second timecheck already, tremendous performance for a stationary bike.

It's his long lost twin brother

I've actually figured out what this is.

He's riding in number 26 but the times being posted as his are those of the 26th rider to start today - Haimar Zubeldia.

Long time no updates on the 2nd checkpoint.

Still Sivtsov as last time while he isn't even on course yet. Must say the live timing is a mess.

I was thinking my computer had frozen - Martin should be past already

Uh, Malori lost 13s on Westra in the last 15k...
Not uncommon for a young guy like Malori to lose time on a diesel like Westra.
Westra doesn't seem to be in much of a shape tho. He did win the Belgium prologue, but was **** in all other stages.
Here he seems to confirm that form.

Daniel Martin 1:29 slower than Tony on the first 15km. Not good but not super bad either.
I wonder how much Rodriguez will lose today

Boom to start at 14:32 CET (in 12 minutes)

It looks like everything apart from point 2 is working now.

Surprsingly good time by Dan Martin at 1st checkpoint, inspired by his namesake.
