Evans is not going nearly as well as I expected but for GC purposes he is more than good enough.

meh this is about level we've seen from evans the past year or two. Looks good for a top5 considering how much the later guys owning in the last bit.

Nah, it is rather dissapointing. Hopefully he will practise some more but the tour will be won and lost inthe mountains.

27. VAN DEN BROECK Jurgen 31 OMEGA PHARMA - LOTTO 00:41:57 00:02:28

Like I said, better conditions, it would be weird if he went slower than Gesink. He is now faster ;)

look at his results in tt last year or two. It hasn't been the evans of old, I find this result about right.

Looks like the rain is only on the middle part of the course, Wiggo is back on dry roads now.

Sometimes you remind me of Bavarianrider in terms of how many times you make a fool out of yourself.

again, a pure TT focused Wiggins is the only man who can challenge Cancellara.

Go beat Tony at the Worlds then.

He's not pure TT focused... Very much has Dauphine and Tour GC on his mind I think (Wiggins moreso than Tony).

Well I'll agree to disagree. Don't think it is so simple. I guess Evans should keep a good gc position.
