Go go Pino! Even with only five at the end, HTC destroys the field. Cav looks shattered, he did a huge pull in the final KM to set it up for Pinotti.

Pinotti will wear pink, Cav will take it tomorrow.

At least they gave it to Pinotti (Italian TT champ takes lead on day 1 = feelgood story).

That's the only positive I can see in the story.

It'll be interesting to see if Garmin and Liquigas will benefit from extra men over the second half, I'm not sure the course is long enough.

They are already starting to lose men. But they have a big lead on the GC men, which is all that matters at this point.

That S-curve coming off the roundabout is catching out every single team. I wonder if there was a last minute change to the course or a mistake in the road book or something?

Garmin also down to five and going fast, but not fast enough. 3rd for now, Liquigas might push them to 4th.

Omega rode their socks off today, really impressive ride out of nowhere.
