OT but does anyone know if CCC's Bodnar and Liquigas's Bodnar are brothers??

This is probably HTC's TTT to lose, yet I don't see any teams losing less than 80 seconds to them either. Anton will probably lose the most of the fav's considering that he, Juanjo (and maybe Isasi) are the only ones that could potentially put in a decent time trial from their squad.

Yeah HTC for the win, then Garmin.

Rabobank + Androni have both won TTTs so far this year haven't they? Looking forward to see how they do.

Yeah but that was a completely different Rabobank team. About half their Tour squad in Tirreno.

i hope euskaltel, colnago and androni will not lose more than one minute to the winner's time.

Well not half their tour squad, but most definately a different squad compared to this one.

Only Tankink and Flens were also in Tirreno.

You sure you don't wanna pick a few more teams? :p

I had this horrible dream this night that Anton lost 17 minutes in this TTT and got dropped on stage 2 aswell. Hope this isn't going to happen :D

3 minutes only. I swear.

Well at least I know why teams haven't reconned the TTT course (from the article on the front page about HTC):

"It's a pity that we cannot experiment the course before Saturday morning," Piva continued. "The race used some one-way streets, so it makes it difficult if not impossible to see it. Two years ago some teams did it in the early morning and some incidents occurred. There's no way we'll risk a crash by doing that, so we'll wait for Saturday morning and the course to be closed to traffic. We've studied it on Google Maps but it's a different thing to do it on the bike. Some tactical choices are impossible to be made at the last moment."

I question the ordering by the giro organisers.

18 LEOPARD-TREK
19 AG2R LA MONDIALE
20 QUICKSTEP CYCLING TEAM.
21 VACANSOLEIL - DCM PRO C.TEAM
22 TEAM RADIOSHACK
23 MOVISTAR TEAM

Other than radioshack, none of those teams are really going to feature high up in the gc or stage honours. I thought they would try to put at least a two big teams in the final 5 or 6 so their is a climax to the finish.

I agree that movistar should be given the honour of going last with Arroyo being the highest placed rider to come back.

The others yeah, seems a bit weak though i guess they probably drew lots or something.

note times have been changed from
Start: 16:15 / Finish: 17:45
to
Start: 15:50 / Finish: 17:20

Not possible. From what I've worked out Leopard Trek have said they are starting at 17.02h and Quickstep ave said they are starting at 17.06. This means that teams are going out at 2 minute intervals.

1 OMEGA PHARMA-LOTTO 16:28
2 KATUSHA 16:30
3 ASTANA 16:32
4 ANDRONI GIOCATTOLI-C.I.P.I. 16:34
5 COLNAGO-CSF 16:36
6 ACQUA & SAPONE 16:38
7 EUSKALTEL-EUSKADI 16:40

10 GEOX-TMC 16:46

12 SAXO BANK SUNGARD 16:50
13 BMC RACING TEAM 16:52
14 HTC - HIGHROAD 16:54
15 TEAM GARMIN - CERVELO 16:56

17 LIQUIGAS-CANNONDALE 17:00

21 VACANSOLEIL - DCM PRO C.TEAM 17:10
22 TEAM RADIOSHACK 17:12
23 MOVISTAR TEAM 17:14

It will take around 20.5 to 22 miuntes to finish the course there fore the finish time will be around 17:35 or 37.

EDIT: you might be right. as that startlist would assume that the teams would be going out at 4 minute intervals which wouldn't make sense if Leopard Trek has said that they start at 17:02 and QSI are starting at 17:06

We'll see....

so astana will put the best time and then we'll have to wait until those come in:

14 HTC - HIGHROAD 16:54
15 TEAM GARMIN - CERVELO 16:56
16 LAMPRE-ISD 16:58
17 LIQUIGAS-CANNONDALE 17:00

Agreed- all signed-up on Universal Sports which I thought was a good deal considering the alternatives that may or may not be around tomorrow for streaming.
