I know I'm not great at this prediction lark, but even I wouldn't have tipped Mikel Nieve for the sprints and Sagan for the mountains. I think you have my categories the wrong way round .

Have I? Sorry. I did try to be careful because of people writing them the other way around but obviously not! Will change them. Also have 2 predictions to put in so will change the classification.

Not sure when Stage 2 will start today but for those that haven't, you have until then to send in predictions.

Results from yesterdays stage and total Vuelta score. I think I'll update the main table afterwards, at least then you can see if any major changes have happened. Getting your total score if you need it wont require you to be a mathematical genius anyway.

Scores are quite low too so Vuelta is quite hard to pick and no one is really pulling away.

Doing pretty disastrously as far as the overall competitions go. Anton and Menchov way down on GC, Farrar abandoned, Anton isn't gonna take the points jersey, doubtful Geox will win the team classification.
