Then I just chose a boring prediction. But I bought Vansummeren in Teamtoto yesterday.

You have to spread the names in different games to be happy somehow. Its the key to success.

These monuments are really ****ing me off.

After i submited my team, I looked through cq and immediately found Van Summeren and wished I had him (well other than Vandevelde who I realised i forgot like 1 second after i pressed submit).

All i could do was sit back and hope that not too many people would choose him.

Thankfully that might be my saving grace.

But I thought to myself, pff, so Ill lose a few points, maybe Van Summeren will get 400 or so.

But never, ever ever, did i envision this.

The cq gods are not smiling kindly on monuments. I do well in stage races, but monuments i keep thinking to myself - at least it cant possibly get any worse next time.

Like i said, Vandevelde will win LBL and GDL.

I thought he was an easy 1200 points, at least.

Lucky to break even now.

Another flaw in the "big names" strategy I chose, especially if they target one or two big races (like Flanders and P-R), only to be struck down by lady luck.

Might have to avoid anyone over 500 points next season.

In fact you SOLD him last night and bought Sagan, after having an epic brainstorm before going to bed.

In a quick look, 3 points between the top 4, and 3 more to 5th?

No one could have predicted this unpredictability. Although, I don't mind sacrificing a few prediction games for some truly remarkable races.

I doubt, since picking the mountain jerseys will be pure luck and picking green everybody will have the same names.

I think the only way to get good separations is if we have to predict the Top-10 in the GT´s. My opinion and suggestion...

May you make a poll for that between the participants

Oh good 8th, not as dreadful as I imagined. Still wishing I didn't do a last minute switch from Docker.

Now for the hilly classics, a completely different ball game.

EDIT: They've given Selvaggi 8 points (he DNF'ed) for finish and nothing to Leukemans. So that's 8 points more gained when they fix that.

I only got Cancellara right. Geraint Thomas and Pippo both had their share of bad luck along with Boonen. Hishovd did good but finished 8th. Not enough to give me points.

Table and results document have been uploaded!

Despite a lot more variety in the predictions this week it ended up only with one rider who mattered: Cancellara. So the deciding thing was who had him as coming as second, who didn't (and who didn't have him at all!). Still quite a compressed leaderboard so there is a chance for people at the bottom to move up on the leaders.

I expected to be approx position 400 in the main league but I'm 20'th somehow after yesterdays debacle. I got Hayman into the top 10 which was nice along with Canc And Thor.
