Gilbert won of course :)
1 second ahead of Terpstra. Phil takes the lead in the GC as well.

thank you ... tomm finish looks like it would suit him, so a win for him again tomm.

Nah, it's quite deceiving... Check the height indications on the profile. It's practically a flat stage.

Wish I could check who voted against Gilbert :p

Yeah, my mistake. Should have made the votes public, but I didn't think anyone would be stupid enough to vote against Phil :)

pretty easy for gilbert in the end. Didnt even look to be drawing breath in the final sprint.

Pity that Gilbert has to do this race to get to the start of the Tour in top condition, thereby taking easy victories from everyone else (and by everyone else I mean my CQ guys, Van Avermaet at Belgium and Terpstra here).

Chalk up 3,4 wins for him in Le Tour, then?

TSF, your second line of your signature is fantastic!

It's gonna be a long month, isn't it?

I wonder if Niki Terpstra will try and and collect some bonus seconds in the intermediate sprints. Gilbert won it like that 2 years ago taking the lead of... Niki Terpstra in the final stage.

Nice for Gilbert. Stages 1, 4 and 6 look do-able but I can't really see where a 4th win would come from.

Stage 5 to Cap Frehel has a rolling terrain all the way to the finish. He could get away and if he has strong form he could do something on Super Besse.

Phil actually said in a post race interview that the win didn't come that easy ... he didn't have a good day ... still good enough to win though ... but he blamed it on the constant change in weather conditions

Nice work by Gilbert but now no Terpstra wins as he is too close time wise. Hard luck for Gretsch but HTC should have enabled Rasmussen to be ready for these stages instead of making him ride when he was 2nd. That way he could have maybe stayed in that escape group today.

Today's stage:

1. Leigh Howard (THR)
2. Sebastian Haedo (SBS)
3. Tyler Farrar (GRM)

Gilbert attacked again in the last k. :)

Gilbert takes the overall.

12th victory of the season for Gilbert! Wat an incredible year he has. And many more victories will come.

13th victory.

Gullegem Koerse is the biggest kermis koers in Belgium, it's no criterium. It's ridden seriously.
