Is Evans even going to work? If Andy keeps Contador pegged at a minute he probably doesn't need to. He should pounce for seconds with 1km to go though.

Untrue.
Cadel can afford to have Contador close to him, Andy not.
Btw. Contador seems to fade, he ain't gaining on Voeckler anymore for minutes now.

But Andy has 57 seconds on Evans, I'd say Evans should start getting nervous around the same time as Andy should.

Sanchez is returning on Contador.

How is it possible that Sanchez and Contador have a very bad day and then a very good one? Not clinic related btw?

Just weird

yesterday he said he wasn't sure if he bonked, cause he was able to follow wheels till the end, but he decided to climb at his own rhythm. So he probably saw himself going too far into the red, then backed off to avoid it.

That used to be the usual way in the old days. Having a bad and than a good day and the other way around. Clinic stuff helped to let this stop happening.
Might be a good sign. Probably it isn't one though but just pure coincidence.

I have to say that this is a big win for Cadel. The Schlecks better get with it or they will finish 2nd again.
