Quite, there's no reason to spend energy dropping those left, if he's got the legs to finish this everyone except Andy will drop through attrition.

I agree. He would be more valuable in the front group with Andy.

I think he wants to be sure that they'll stay away if he does though, he's already put in a mighty effort yesterday so he doesn't want to blow himself up. I expect him to help somewhere on the Galibier, but he might want to talk to Alberto first.
