Agreed. I was so happy when Andy was last in the group - I knew Samu had taken the jersey then.

Contador attacked twice a little too early. But anyway chapeau Campeon. Again a stage, when Andy the commander orders everyone what to do. Sad.

the difference now compared to last time, is that now andy schleck is more tired than evans in the 3rd week. Evans is looking pretty good in the 3rd week and he will be fresher than andy. I knew evans will be good in the 3rd week this year due to his light preparation.

Ehm you might have noticed Samu lost a lot of time yesterday? And even let his teammates work despite him already knowing he had a bad day?

Say what? I watched the whole stage live, and none of the three Euskaltel riders worked for more than a few moments in the entire 60ish km pursuit from the end of the descent. It certainly didn't reduce the amount of time he lost (vs AS) on the stage by not using his team to help bring the break back on the flat, regardless of how bad he was feeling. Ditto Conti, Basso, Voeckler.

Funny, it seemed to me as if Evans got a gap on the Schleck bros at the line, yet results shows ST. ASO as usual applying the rules as they please:rolleyes:, even one second could be crucial for Evans tomorrow.

Why do you Cadel fanboys try so hard to make us hate him. I want to like him for tomorow but with stupid comments like this it becomes difficult.

This.

Allthough I must say all the fanboys usually make a fool of their own hero.

I'm really happy for Cadel as it seems he has a real good shot at winning the TdF. Then you read these kind of comments of someone who should know better, but is lost in his fanboyism :)

Looking back at replays of Contador attacking 5 hours ago, is like looking back at a far happier time.

and not a bad descender too.

True, but I'm willing to forgive a polkadot-winner who can't descend to well, but ussually the jersey is won not by the best, but by the best who's to bad to compete for the GC. Only jersey that is almost never won by the best man. The new rules look like they might change that though.

whats tomorrow's weather forecast?

Hugh

Good question, also I am curious to see Voeckler compared to the Schlecks against the clock with lots on the line.

Past performances should not be accurate indicators as the pressure was never fully on for Voeckler and besides he is fitter than ever before.

As an Australian half-tanked on a bottle and a half of French cabernet sauvignon from the Aude Valley, that was an incredible stage.

Bravo Pierre, bravo Cadel; you may have yet saved the Tour.

My head says Andy will lose 40 secs tomorrow; my heart says Cadel will win the Tour by 5 secs, the smallest margin in history*

Cadel has lost the Tour in 2007 by the second-smallest margin: thanks Laurent and Greg.

Personally I certainly expected Evans to crack. He didn't so chapeau to him!
Now he has to win it all....
