Evans is just unlucky to be born in this era of cyclists, he would of won many grand tours if it wasn't for Armstrong and then Contador.

nbo he wouldn't he also rode before contador and after lance time period and got his *** handed to him by carlos sastre, yes, that's right carlos sastre!!

what do any of those races have to do with being a first rate climber? Hés never proven that he was horribly exposed in the tour 2008 by sastre who took 2 minutes on him on alpe dhuez and even a 22 year old any killed him in final metres, after that it only went downhil as far as climbing. look no further than dauphinee this year to see how much he sucks and don't come with the whole in shape story because evans always ride between 95-100% topshape. he's very consistant in this

The point wasn't first rate climber it was first rate RIDER, i agree he isn't one of the top class climbers. But in a GC he is a first rate rider.

He's 34 and has never won a GT. For a rider who aims at winning big stage races that's not a winner. I'm also very dubious about putting Andy in the "first rate" category yet, until he actually starts winning stuff.

Evans is a top ryder in my opinion, it's not about winning GTs, cycling is a lot more. By other hand I agree with you with AS, he has a lot to win to consider him a first class ryder , his palmares is still poor.

Bob Roll just gave Cuddles an A for the first week, Andy an A- and Contador a C-.

I want Contador to do well just to shut that idiot up.

Yeah, Moncoutie and Taaramae will both be safely sitting in the peloton.

Moncoutie will attack on the first climb. Cofidis could very well set the early pace to get Moncoutie in a good position. Taaramae will then just sit with the favourites for as long as he can on the last climb.

Not only that, but he rode for 7-11 in the 80's, and has ridden the Tour.

That's what people don't understand. With everything that's going on with LA, UCI and ASO, Contador is the underdog. Strange but true.

So we have at least two underdogs in this GT: Contador and Cuddles.

Taaramäe could attack Gesink if they should be in the same group in any time. Taaramäe said that he has never felt as good as he is feeling right now on a summer (has had allergic asthma for years and riding on summer has been tough for him. A month ago the asthma was discovered and the medication is very effective to make him actually enjoy riding on the summers.)

I don't think Eurocar has the legs to control the break

Voeckler doesn't think he can hold on to the yersey so they probably don't care about the break that much.

Yeah that's also a possibility.

Cofidis goals before the Tour were;

A stage win
The white jersey
Top 10 for Taaramae
The polka dot jersey
