I don't think Eurocar has the legs to control the break

Two things I don't want to see today:

1. Schlecklet or his brother showing they are the strongest in the Tour

2. Voeckler pulling on yellow after the stage.

I don't think they are strong enough either, and I hope Voeckler isn't strong enough to hold his 2+ lead.

He won't be, but they might let him. In any event if he does, more power to him, I say. He won't hold it very long in any case.

Why are they talking to The Hog about Schlecklet and Contador chaingate? I truly hate Versus coverage...but it is in HD, so...

Voeckler doesn't think he can hold on to the yersey so they probably don't care about the break that much.

Voeckler wants to hold on to yellow for as long as possible. Don't be fooled by what he said. He's an attention wh*re of the highest order (and I like the guy's attacking style).

EDIT: I'm more curious which team takes up the responsibility for the chase. Maybe HTC until they intermediate sprint...

I would love to see this break staying away, with Kadri winning. He proved himself to be a more than decent climber in the Vuelta last year, so it's not all that far fetched a hope.

Yes, yes he is. (and I don't like his attacking style because it reminds me too much of Chiappucci)

The joys of Eurosport HD.

NBC/Versus online is HD and features Matt Keenan until later in the stage when it switches to Phil and Paul. No ads, no Bob Roll.

Because they can't talk to Lance. It really is sad that they show so very little interest in developing a new audience for such a beautiful sport.

is a fantastic stream ... but have to put up with Phil and Paul later. I wish they would stay with Matt Keenan. He is pretty good

So far today, I have been assaulted with the "A certain Lance Armstrong" comment, 2 minutes of discussion about today's climbs done in relation to Armstrong, and Bob Roll an the idiocy that flows from his mouth like a constant stream of diarrhea. It is almost unwatchable.

Not common to see Moncoutie near the front of the peloton ... Cofidis clearly have ambitions for him today. Hope you're right, Sasquatch, about attacking on the first climb.

Thought he was better off getting in the break early on. Chances are they will force a tempo on the climb to put Gesink, Uran and Coppel in trouble early and then launch the Moncoutie attack.

But yes, I too am hoping for a Moncoutie attack and I'm hoping their plan is that.

Have you tried listening to the Eurosport audio feed with the Versus picture?

Speaking of Eurosport, Kelly doesn't approve of Cofidis wasting energy chasing the break.

Yea, I think I might switch over to that right now since you mention it.

I think this is certain now, that they will attack together and Sanchez gets the stage.

I'm pretty damn certain that is not what's going to happen. Unless Andy is not on form that tactic would give him the win because at 100% there is no way Sanchez can keep up with Andy.
