I had a list of 30 riders before the stage who had not been mentioned in Cyclingnews live feed or report (apart from results) and Isaichev was one of those.

He's a better climber, so why not. Of the 3 sprinters he's going to be the most comfortable getting over, and Moncoutie will have to go pretty deep to drop him.

Europcar driving surprisingly fast, maybe Voeckler reckons he can take the stage if the break is caught?

HTC fail, the one time they send a guy in the break he isn't allowed to ride. Way to make friends for the next sprint stage as well...
