My kid and I were watching and we just busted out laughing. Especially when they talked about how Cadel attacked (followed by an interview with Hincapie talking about how Contador's attack surprised Cadel but Cadel was able to fight back and take charge on the descent). We were rolling with laughter. 'Didn't you see the race Versus? It was on TV and everything?' Hilarious. The incompetence of their broadcasts is beyond incompetence, it's so detached from reality it would make Goebbels and Stalin proud. They lie to themselves and then interview a guy on the team that they are trying to promote who exposes their lie. Without a commercial break! Save that to the DVR!
Euskaltel or Saxo should have sent men up the break to help Sammy and Alberto later on. Its not like Euskaltel don't like being in breaks, so its a bit strange.

It's not really clear who saxo have to help in a descent - porte? Probably also means that an attack will happen on the last climb.

Ive been using the term The Great One to describe one particular cyclist, for a very long time.
Its the cyclist who despite being a sporting superstar, brings attacking racing and his absolute top form to every single race he can fit into his calendar, from the Tour of Algarve to the Tour of France, and even when injured, broken down and battered, lights up stages like the one yesterday.
And its not Cadel
The hell, the breakaway has been caught, this will really tire all of the riders with the pace so high every day, will be interesting next couple of stages..
