Impressive that EBH is in a break again. Interesting to see his climbing today, yesterday he rode well on Col de Manse. The less steeper climbs seems to suit him well, so he should do ok on todays climbs. Go Edvald!

Phil is actually regretting now he ever went for green.

after watching Thor's Tour, I kinda agree.

Phil would have had a much better chance of getting away and getting more stage wins if he wasnt going for green.

Having said that - I watched an interview from the rest day and he said he really only was going for the stage win on day 1 and wanted to wear yellow. He only prepared as he would a classic, so pretty much knew he would tire and not be as good later.

If Mollema finally has good legs he should be far and out the best climber in the group. But I said that last week as well.

Hope his legs are there

Casar says hi again.

Eurosport finaly aknowledging the existance of Samu. Say he should not be discounted.

They are the only organisation to do so.

As if we needed another reason to realise that ES is truly the home of cycling.

dunno if you were watching the 'before' stuff, but they did discuss Samu a bit ... said they expected him to podium, and had an interview with him about today too.

I think he is a good chance at it

Harmon and Kelly also calling this descent very dangerous in the extreme.
Hang on a mo, though, wasn't this the same finish that Di Luca
attacked on, during the 2009 Giro.
If, so, why wasn't there all this safety debate back then?

Casar is nowadays nowhere as good as a GOOD Mollema (TdS top 5, Castilla y Leon 2nd?)

I'd like to see Casar drop Fränk Schleck on a climb like Mollema did in the Tour de Suisse

but casar is good downhiller. the final climb is like yesterday and won't cause much gaps

Didn't everyone crash there on that finish LOL.

But just because it's the same finish, doesn't mean it's the same descend ;)
