i don't see them taking too much back on andy, he's going full gas today. problem obviously is how much this takes out of him. Tomorrow might not be a fun day for him if the rest of the favorites decide to really start going

Climb gets harder as it progresses.
I am sure he will time in the last 7-8km.

I am skeptical if he will even survive. I hope he does, but we'll see...

Okay, this is stupid. How in the hell do they think Andy will lose 4 minutes to them, much less the time contador needs to overtake him. Stupid not countering this. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

Well hes only got 2 minutes on Evans, and could lose that much in an itt. Considering they will take some big time out of him as the climb moves into 10k to go and 5k to go and 2k to go, id say Cadel is winning the TOur.

Evans can afford to lose MORE time then any of the other chasers.

Yeah, at some point it will be too much for him to get back. But the point is that time gain where he hits that point is further out then it is for anyone else.

2:30 is probably his point. If he keeps it to that and can hang with Andy tomorrow, Cadel can win the tour in the ITT possibly. It won't be easy, but 1:15 against Andy is possible for him.

But for Contador, 2:30 would put him 3:15 down. It would be 3 minutes for Sanchez. Neither of them can make that back in the ITT.

Evans can abide by a larger gap to Schleck at the finish then those two... they need to kick in SOONER then him if they want to win.

yes but that is the time needed going in to the tt. you still have alpe de 'huez before then

Killing the excitement of the last few days of the tour for me.

He's just been given it, any of the top 5 could have done this, and for some reason they just decided to watch him do it.

Bunch starting to push it.

Going to be very tough for schleck I think.
He will have to pace the whole way up, so increasing pace will be very tough.
+ wind.

I tend to agree with Hitch.

This is very good for Evans, as long as the gap comes down some. If they can get within 2 minutes of Andy by the end, Cadel will have to be very pleased. IF he can stay with the others.

The peloton isn't shedding even one rider. It's like it's 40 Pozzato's in one bunch..
Even Pozzato was dropped at the bottom of the Col de la Bonnette:)

Any of them could have, but only one did.

And let's not forget tomorrow.
