Thoughtforfood said:Okay, this is stupid. How in the hell do they think Andy will lose 4 minutes to them, much less the time contador needs to overtake him. Stupid not countering this. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

Yeah, at some point it will be too much for him to get back. But the point is that time gain where he hits that point is further out then it is for anyone else.
2:30 is probably his point. If he keeps it to that and can hang with Andy tomorrow, Cadel can win the tour in the ITT possibly. It won't be easy, but 1:15 against Andy is possible for him.
But for Contador, 2:30 would put him 3:15 down. It would be 3 minutes for Sanchez. Neither of them can make that back in the ITT.
Evans can abide by a larger gap to Schleck at the finish then those two... they need to kick in SOONER then him if they want to win.

I am sure he will time in the last 7-8km.
I am skeptical if he will even survive. I hope he does, but we'll see...

Any of them could have, but only one did.Waterloo Sunrise said:Killing the excitement of the last few days of the tour for me.
He's just been given it, any of the top 5 could have done this, and for some reason they just decided to watch him do it.
