Evans refusing to take responsibility, massive gap now.
Evans will chase on the descent and the last climb.

We knew this is where his team would be weak.

Andy looking to regain some respect...it's very effective too!

But damn, Uran is in big trouble, and that in favorable altitude. Very sad for him!
It is more about the recuperation than the altitude.

That is the problem.

There is still has some hope for him to recuperate.

I don't see it working for Andy. He's not the best descender and the final climb is pretty much a power climb. So with more guys working together, the peloton will have a big advantage, especially if it's into the wind. Obviously Leopard have the luxury of having the Frank card still to play but I doubt Andy will gain big time in the end.

Maybe Evans isn't having a good day or he's gambling that Schleck will be caught before the last climb.

So what do we all think?

he's gone too far out and will be chased down / dropped before the finish, or is this going to pay off?

Personally I think it's a big ask.. don't think he can descend / ride on the flat well enough to make it count..

Who is still in the back with the leaders? Navarro (but he's blowing himself up) Rolland (I reckon he won't blow himself up in the valley) but who is there to ride the valley? I'm sure I missed someone but there aren't to many I reckon.

And Andy has Monfort for the flat...

Genius

It's still a long way until the road kicks up again. Hopefully A.Schleck will get some help from a few other riders in the escape group.

I don't get the anger.

andy might be a girl at times, but this attack should only be applauded.

absolutely. It is actually a great tactic by Leopard Trek. Even if Andy gets pulled back, they have Frank in reserve. Smart riding.
