Greipel, Intxausti, Renshaw, Roy, Sabatini and a couple more were with them

Renshaw not hurting to try and stay at the front is further evidence that HTC are possibly looking at Goss this stage...Unless Cav does what he did yesterday.

The flag of Switzerland is unpacking its suitcase of courage now, and that puts paid to the chances of Wikipedia to win the stage. And what's this? Turkey has managed to hang onto the flag's wheel, taking support from its crescent of Islam festooned medical vehicles.

LOL. :D When Phil retires I think you have a job waiting for you.

Sherwen says it's a tail-wind at the finish, which could take some of the sting out of the climb.

Close. He's secretly a Jedi Knight and he used the force to cause the crash. And before you ask, yes, he used it last year on Andy's chain. :p

I had always suspected that there was something supernatural about Contador. . .

Hopefully once Westra gets caught I won't have to listen to Phil and Paul butcher the pronunciation of his name any more.

But that often suits guys like Gilbert more than the sprinters. A headwind is good on climbs for sprinters, then slipstreamining becomes more important, and the becausenof the slightly slower place up the hill, the climb slightly easier. A tail wind advantages guys that want to hit out and go fast up the climb.
