What is Ventoso doing in a breakaway in a flat stage???
Fair point. Maybe saving Movistar from working for Rojas? But someone else with less chance to win/place themself could do it...

Did anyone see Cancellara, elbows on handlebars, casually cleaning his glasses while maintaining his 3rd in line position at 50km/h, then smiling to the camera.

Some bike handling that.

reminds me of Mario Cippolini in '99 or '00 Tour rubbing the bald head of Ludo Dierckxens with both hands... in the pack ofc.

I turned away for a few moments...did the Movistar and NetApp guys give up chasing back to the leaders or are they bickering PDM/Panasonic style? I saw earlier that the NetApp guy was mad because the Movistar rider let a gap form. That was right before the NetApp rider hit the tarmac going around the corner. Seems as though they won't be giving themselves a handshake when they are caught.

I think I saw Hushovd pretty far up in the group... but I'm not sure.

Edit: Yup, Garmin working in group 1.
