Well, the thing is Andy Schleck cried like a little baby because Contador didn't wait for him(doesn't even speak about Menchov and Samu, the little *****) and now he and his team do the same to someone else. The only difference is that the race wasn't on and that TGBM's mechanical wasn't his fault. So yeah, I hope they get ganged up on in the Tour. I can already see quite a few teams racing against Leopard at the Tour. Astana, Saxobank and now Rabobank.

Well a rather big difference was Andy was in Yellow:rolleyes:

missed the stage and see that bauke lost time, and a lot of anti-leopard comments going on.

Anyone mind telling me what happened?

I like Bauke's reaction tho. Let's hope for some bad *** moments in the tour :D

I think I remember Gesink being pretty cut with the whole wait for andy thing last year.

So I wouldn't be surprised to see rabo try and do leopard in if the opportunity came.

What a fuzz over nothing... If it where for the victory, sure, but for third place... Seriously, who remembers something that trivial in a year?

All things considered, Mollema was pretty boring at this TdS, so it's only fair that he makes some room for Love Boat. But Bauke was to selfish to do this and the guys at Leopard decided to help their friend Kruijswijk out a little. From what I've heard Kruijsraket stabbed Mollema's tire with a nail clipper and acted as if he was filing his nails.

In the end TGBM will certainly get his revenge at the TdF by not congratulating Andy with his second place. The Schlecks will be so p*ssed about that.

TGBM punctured/crashed/mechanical (delete as appropriate) leppard consequently decided to drive on the front to distance him. Andy was contributing massively to this btw...

Come on, Andy took a few turns then decided to get dropped when his heart rate got above 150.

The same applies for Leopard then, who went all out for a third place.
Furthermore, Mollema was still thinking about a possible win though I highly doubt it would have happened for him, however, it does help to understand his resentment.
I have to admit that Kruijswijk has been more exciting in this tds, but Mollema was second for a reason. He rode a very good opening ITT and climbed well so he deserved that spot.
As far as the Mollema's tdf revenge goes, do not underestimate Bauke's capabilities. When he goes into ''Great" mode there's no stopping him. :D

We may have seen the last of the benevolent Mollema. Leopard are stupid for incurring his divine wrath. Can't wait for TDF now. :D

Me too. Keeps things interesting!

IMO the Leaky should reconsider taking Sagan to the Tour. Pretty sure Basso will be riding for a placing without a stage win, and they won't have any other irons in the fire. Sagan would be a decent contender for stage wins + the green jersey. That's the second team who'll be sending a surprisingly weak squad to the Tour.

But maybe I shouldn't underestimate Basso - after all he did win two Giros.

They are reconsidering. Can't remember where I read it though. He wont hold his form for three weeks, but his chances of winning stage 1 and get a day in yellow are really good.

Leopard already road hard in the climb.
They just continued and even didn't know that Mollema had a flat.

Cunego now also stated that he didn't know that Mollema had a flat.

Let us be BENELUX fans (Leopard, Rabobank, Quickstep, Lotto,..)

Movistar rode hard in the climb, hoping to drop most sprinters and give Rojas a chance. Leopard rode hard mostly after the climb. Why would they pull if they didn't know about Mollema? It makes no sense.

+1

Of course they knew about Mollema, hence the mad pulling.

It is a fact that they started pulling a long time before Mollema flatted. Andy Schleck attacked for the KOM points, the group split, and Garmin started riding with Leopard Trek. It may not make sense tactically, but it's a fact. And it's not like Leopard's tactics have been particularly sound before in this Tour de Suisse.

We don't have to doubt that they pulled to prevent Mollema from returning: they say as much on their website.
