There's the Tour de Picardie as well. ;)

As long as 1 is in May, 1 is in July and 1 is in September and UCI doesn't start switching them around it's ok.

For non walloons (which i always assumed was a joke nationality made up by someone) it is confusing. Im already confused

It's a Germanic word for stranger. Wales originates from the very same word actually.

Yeah, but I'm assuming it's named after a region or something? :p

apparently the region used to be called Hainaut Occidenta

and the race is changing its name becuase they think adding picarde and wallonia increases the area from which they can take stages etc. Its a bit like the tour of california changing its name to the tour of west america i guess.

To really confuse things, Circuit Franco Belge are changing their name.....

.....to Tour de Wallonie Picarde

I would think this is quite simple, Circuit Franco Belge takes place in Belgium and France so I would imagine they are just changing the name from the countries to the respective regions it passes through. As it only enters Wallonia in Belgium, makes sense but I did think it also entered French Flanders, maybe not.

This doesn't quite make sense to me.
Unless Franco-Belge means something than what I think it does, how can the area of Wallonie & Picardie be bigger than France & Belgium?

Schattie, ik Bennati.

BTW, what's up with Van Leijen beating Van Avermaet in sprints? Has Greg even won anything this year?

It wasn't really a sprint. Uphill finish with GvA being up the road and only van Leijen being able to pass him.

Glad I changed my signature now, Bennati is ruining his rep. Who's going to battle with Rojas for 2nd or 3rd now? Leading candidates so far are Appollonio and Kristoff. :D

a guy just made a voigt:

Scène surprenante sur les routes du TRW.

Gorik Gardeyn (Vacansoleil), qui a chuté il y a quelques minutes, ne veut absolument pas abandonner ! Mais sa voiture est déjà reparti sans lui. Gardeyn a donc emprunté un vélo de cyclotouriste afin de revenir à hauteur de sa voiture et prendre un nouveau vélo!

Gorik Dardeyn, who fell a few minutes ago, doesn't want go give up! But his car has already left without him. Gardeyn took a bike of a cyclotourist until he reached his car and took a new bike.

For the non Francophones here.
