Again, I am pretty sure they are testing new technology. An IP transmitter to send video back to the truck instead of having a helicopter or plane up and using microwave transmitters. The problem is that you need to have very stable and high grade cell service for it to work properly.

New technology is great and all, but it doesn't seem like they really thought this through. The tracker stuff is the same they have at Cali so I expected the same quality of video coverage. And it's not as though they don't have a helicopter.

Liquigas all over the front working for mini-Sagan.

Technically it's Peter who's mini-Sagan as Juraj is the oldest.

About the feed. Well... it can be rather entertaining the watch their legs go crazy and random shots of... random stuff!

Hope they get it right for Colorado, since Eurosport are taking 2 hours a night, live.

The feed might make them look like the are pedalling in a cartoon, but this is a very fast stage with a very early finish.

The tracker software is the same... The hardware between the camera and receiver in the truck is what I am talking about. And this new hardware is MUCH cheaper than traditional microwave equipment. We are looking at it for the TV station where I work.

Looking at this again I am starting to think it's a bitrate set up problem. Sigh... It isn't this hard to stream quality video guys...

UHC are doing the chasing, probably for Robert Forster. That was a nasty crash too, there were at least 15 guys down all over the road
