I didn't say that he's old or something, I just said that he's not classified as a young rider and that's a fact.

White jersey for young rider GC is always from age 25 and lower. Not sure what fact you are talking about.

Incidentally, has anyone managed to work out how *** you would need to be to get an exercise bike which actually bothered to engineer in some hydraulics to tilt it up and down.

I mean seriously, a 5 year old should be able to see through that.

Why are they so concerned about Acevado? No GC threat whatsoever, they should just let him go and do a decent pace on the flat to get him back in the mountain.

Ffs, are you watching this race at all? This race has different rules, which means that 1988 and higher up...

Great race! Cali eat your heart out.
This is going to be mano a mano, all the way up the final climb and that's without Acevedo up the road.

Levi is going to have to suck hard, with a vengeance.

They do things differently around here, apparently.

Wonder where TJ ends up next year - hasn't done much for his reputation this year to be honest, not sure anyone can take him as a genuine GC contender unless you're filling a national quota on PCM 11.

He's well regarded as a potential future GC star of the future. Of course he needs to continue to develop, but he should have an excellent career.

No I wasn't following this race since I wasn't able to watch it until today.
So I have to take back my words. Sorry! ;)

Ofcourse I followed the results etc, just didn't pay attention to other GCs, besides the general GC.

Well, you believe that if it makes you feel better. TJ is a decent TTer who tries hard at climbing, but has never shown anything that great. I was excited about him last year after the Dauphine, but I've seen him dropped far too often, far too easily since then to believe he's got GC stardom in him.

To clarify, I have no doubt he'll get a nice contract somewhere, I'm just not sure in what role exactly - I'm not sure how much longer he'll be content just riding 1 week races, but he's not shown nearly enough to deserve GT leadership anywhere.
