Tony Martin impressive if he was crashing into a big headwind at the start.
Wiggins will need to go quicker early if he wants a decent time overall

Tony spanked Spartakus's **** :)

But I guess Fabian knows what to do to win the rainbowjersey and will be better in about 3 weeks.

Froome has already exceeded my wildest expectations for this Vuelta. If he can keep this up for two more weeks he may well end up going to the Tour de France next year.

They just showed Wiggins riding with his time rolling on the bottom of the screen, but we still don't have a time check? How does that work?

Wiggo just a second ahead of Martin at the first, so he'll probably end up behind at the end. 2nd on the stage will be an excellent result if he can manage it.

Wow, that could be a sensational TT for Wiggins if can match Martin's time (or close).

Similar story to the Dauphine, would be nice if he could hold it though.

Wiggins only 1 second faster than Martin. Awesome performance, but that should mean he won't win the stage.
edit: took too long to type and ended up making pretty much the same post as Jamsque.

Like I said in my opening post that nobody seems to have read, whoever does well here will win la vuelta. Wiggins is certainly doing that today.

Amazing how it takes 5 minutes for the times to be posted. Don't they have a camera at each time check?
