Mollema will be a little disappointed to take so long to catch J-Rod. Let's see if he cheats or goes right past him...

Purito is not done at all. He was always going to lose this time in the ITT, and all things considered he didn't lose all that much yesterday. He just has it slightly worse than could be expected right now.

He is done. Nibali V Wiggins V Froome???

Well it will be a very exciting Vuelta if he comes back from this.

Yeah I think this is great for the race. Forces riders who have nothing to lose (Rodriguez, VDB2, Mollema) to attack like crazy, and riders who are within shouting distance (Nibali, Fuglsang) to attack like sane people. Wigans and Froome are good climbers, but hardly explosive... lots of climbing to be done, and not final TT to fall back on.

Should be an exciting race.

Agreed. The days of everyone punishing the TT and consolidating in the mountains are gone. This is much much better for the overall. Sets it up nicely.

Hmm so Mollema only loses +28 to Nibali so far.

But I think Wiggins and Froome are now the people to beat.
Fuglsang will drop somewhere on the mountains anyway

Even tho Froome is in red I can't consider him a GC favorite. Lo9t of climbing to be done, some very tough climbing.

J-Rod now has a free ride to the finish if he can hold on, the Spanish comissaires will never penalise him.
