Froome dropped - if Wiggins does **** lots of people will choose to imagine froome would have been fine if roles were reversed.

I don't think that he did that much work to be dropped so early.. there were about 25-30 riders in the group when he got dropped. Can't possibly feel very good today.

The only effect this stage will have on GC is that Froome has been sacrificed. Biggest tactical failure since Pauwels 09.

Only thing I don't understand. If this was the plan all along, why make froome try hard on the TT?

Great effort and sacrifice by Froome, especially when he's been asked to pace for Wiggins despite leading the race himself.

Froome is dead. **** tactics by Sky.

Not exactly. It preserved Wiggins's strength and made a pace so high it was hard for others to attack. Could Wiggins have brought the latest attack back if not for Froome's sacrifice on this climb? Maybe, maybe not.

I'm sure they wanted time for Wiggins, but unfortunately it may not work out that way. Tactics don't always work out as planned. Doesn't make them **** necessarily...
