Whoa, Sep is riding!

Very disappointing, that Scarponi fella. Does he have an excuse like Antón?

Hes already had a successful GT and a successful season. Giro was his peak.

Well yes, but he was talking about trying to win the Vuelta.

I completely forgot about his crash, though.

I was just searching for Taaramae's blog, and I see that the Estonians have a site for all professional bike riders to write something down after EACH stage. Besides Taaramae, also Kangert and Mandri post their story's. Then I'm not talking about just a few sentences, but really one A4-long posts. If you understand the language and like cycling, it's really a nice site to follow. I'm a little bit jealous of those cycling loving Estonians.

Was looking at that earlier, a good read although the google translation does throw out some odd phrases. Wonder what this google translation is talking about?

'In cucumber, no fever for the second day'

Meh, the vuelta has seen many of the favourites falter. A lot of lesser riders + Nibali are competing ftw. It is a good opportunity for a lesser rider to win a GT. Don't want to sound mean but I think that is the way it has been.

I think you are right for the most part. Anton, Scarponi and possibly Menchov were expected to really push Nibali and they have all failed to show up. I wouldn't call Wiggins a 'lesser rider' but he'd be having a much harder time protecting his lead if there were more riders in contention.

Some sort of fetish, kind of like Durianrider advice by the sounds of things.

Yeah, I'd put Rodriguez in that category but in saying that he put up a fight and looks to keep on fighting till Madrid. I guess I shouldn't write him off completely.

Shame Cadel isn't racing.:(

It actually, wierdly makes pretty much sense. We have one word for both, cucumber and throat in Estonia. So he ment that he as no fever or sore throat for the second day n a row :)

Rodríguez is definitely fighting, but because his time trial is woeful (and it was entirely as expected) all it needs is one off-day in the mountains (which we've got) and a whole cluster of contenders pass him.

Can't wait for some more Matty Keenan. Love his commentary especially with continual need to mention Cadel even when he's not racing. :p

Probably, but he would of been entertaining on some of the short sharp finishes and is an entertaining bike rider.
