They caught the last survivor like 100m before the intermediate sprint. The result was De La Fuente, Haussler, Froome.

Cobo would beat de la Fuente in a sprint 100 out of 100 times, I think they thought de la Fuente going would put Froome off, and probably they didn't expect him to beat the likes of Sagan who didn't even try.
