I love the Tour, but imo the day-to-day racing is usually more interesting in the Giro and Vuelta - less predictable, generally speaking. Although having said that, this year's Tour was one of the best GT's I've seen in a long time.

I think that idea is based on some bedouin tribes wearing black. But from what I know studies have found no difference whatsoever in clothing. And with all the time and money put into R&D in cycling nowadays I'm almost positive they would wear different colour jerseys if it made a real difference.
