Lets see if any of the GC men is going to try anything in the descent, there's virtually no valley at the end of it so someone might give it a try.

I used to live in the tropics and almost everyone had a white car. I figure there must be a reason for that.

EDIT: almost everyone = ~70%

Didn;t spot JvdB either, dude, you could only see the first 10/15. Relax. We'll see the results in a few hours. Don't over focus

black absorbs heat = bad today
white reflects head = good today

Why aren't Garmin back in the white jerseys for the hotter Vuelta? Why did the Cervelo TT never wear their white jerseys in the Vuelta.

If white reflects heat from the sun back, it also reflects it back to the rider from inside the jersey? In reality. There is no difference except the psychological because we are told "white is cooler"

But that's a question of lacquer paint on metal. Modern fabrics is a different question - I don't think the Caisse jerseys would have had so much black if it meant a disadvantage in the Spanish races.

Rabobank leading the chase, the gap has gone out to 2 minutes on the descent.

5k for Lastras, gap to the other three just 16 seconds.

If Chav can get away from these two he should bridge easily.

Rabo away from the peloton? Eh?
