Purito said that he's fine because he had a soft landing on some big riders who had fell in front of him :D

Sounds confident, but pain will just come tomorrow anyway.
But then he should be ok again. Could be worse. :)

His photo in the CN-results looked dramatic.

I guess we are short before someone coming out to point out the awesomeness of the Giro.

For some perspective on just how much this Vuelta sucks, in particular this sprint stage, just think about how awesome the Giro has been these last few years!

awesomenessesness.

Always happy to be of service when I can. :D Somebody had to do it.

Anyway, I'm finally home from work, so the stage that was interrupted (along with this bit of humor) by leaving for work can be taken up again. Just getting ready to finish watching. I understand there was a little crash . . . .

after reviewing the video a couple of times I just concluded:

Farrar fvcked up big time with that nasty swerving & he ought to pay to Golas the dental bill

I'm going to mostly agree with you. Farrar is mostly at fault, but Golas swerved too. He just didn't come off his line anywhere near as much as Farrar.

I agree though that stage result would not have changed at all regardless.

It reminded me of a bad accident caused by Cavendish a few years ago where he just rode into someone's front wheel. Farrar has a pretty erratic sprinting style sometimes.
