Cadel Evans leads standings in Stage 2 of the Criterium International, a time trial. But 15 riders still to finish, including Mick Rogers.

**** I think Mick rogers can beat evans.
Do you think so?

He hasn't raced much, so no idea where his form currently is.

edit: but I'd guess about 0.28 seconds or so slower.

Rodgers 2nd by 0.28 seconds (I am guessing not 28 seconds given the course length, but you never know).

OMG Phew! I would have gone nuts if I had to wait again for their first win.

Good job by Evans. Unless someone still beats him now. He's on the right track to win a second Tour title. If it isn't Contador that's going to win this year's Tour it might as well be Evans. Used to cheer for him in the 2010 Giro before ACF made me cheer against him :D

evans looked so out of it in tirreno

Like I said his form was decent. He got an 8th on that uphill sprint. Was caught in a crash on the big MTF stage so he kinda relaxed for the TT too.

This is the first time in a long time since he has gotten a TT win. He has improved his TT a lot since 2011.

Im not sure about that. A long climb is a total different thing for cadel. Won't be surprised if someone else wins it like roux.

Time gaps are tiny so no reason to suspect they're miles behind.

What. You can't extrapolate that from a single ITT result. He's not very likely to improve any aspect of his riding at this point.

exactly. a 6 km prologue is menaingless pretty much in knowing what's someone's shape as well.

Well Im mostly saying that from his brilliant performance in the last TT in 2011 TDF, you can't argue about that it was a really strong performance. He also won the Romandie tour through a strong performance in the TT.

Cadel Evans (BMC Racing) wins Stage 2 of the Critérium International, a 6.5km time trial.
I can relax finally, I was pretty uptight with someone beating him.
After the troubles BMC had early in the season, finally something has gone their way.:)
