Her point was that it was not her but dwlsonic who brought up Contador and in a negative way at that, so its very unfair to blame her for bringing him up when she did not bring him up and had no option but to respond.

?? I didn't even mention contador??

Indeed a good addition to Evans' palmarès, but I can't get over how careful he rode the final. I like a rider who finishes off a race when he has the chance. Being an Evans fan I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and put it down to him not expecting that easy a ride after his recent poor form... But I hope we see a different Cadel in the Ardennes.

I somewhat agree. I think Cadel didn't want to overdo it today so rode within himself because he also wasn't sure how good he was. Personally I think he could of won solo if he really pushed it but that is alright. He has 2 victories to his name already this year.

Ardennes should be fun!

So a quick summary: Florecita only comes out of the walls when Alberto is mentioned, ACF only when Cadel is mentioned, but when both are being discussed in the same thread (along with BMC boy sonic) the forum goes into meltdown?

On another note, it was great to see Amael Moinard ride so well on a climb. He was great and his best ride I have seen him do for BMC.

That were two total different discussions:rolleyes:

Not really. I responded to you mentioning Contador and then ACF basically jumped upon me and then Hitch stepped in and then you said that you didn't even mention Contador.

Did he assure his participation in the Tour? I hope so.

I am not sure about that but this certainly helps. He rode very strongly in the finale. Guys like Frank, Morabito & Moinard will all be competing for a spot in the team as they are similar riders. Based on potential I would go with Frank but the other two are performing well atm.

just like i said after the prologue, cadel had the form.nice from him to choose another race for the palmares instead of defending tirreno,i alwyas like things like these.very surprised though about his domestiques for this stage, very strong especially the last one, i guess it was moinard.

uk postal tactics?epic fail!nordhaug was by far the strongest on the climb after cadel,he could won this but instead he waited for rogers.those tactics made me sad.but nordhaug animal attack worthed.

froome and rolland still getting kms in the legs.at least we saw their faces...

colombia coldeportes, step by step they will be there but not now.absolutely no fuel yet in the tank, very low endurance.

above all, another very good win by the champ cadel.he will be there in july.

It was Nordhaug.

Froome was miles back down the road.

They also have Sicard as the best Euskaltel rider, I thought I saw Anton there. Other weird stuff from CN:s report are the rider Sky Procycling from Garmin - Barracuda as DNF and Klöden as 9th in the young rider classification . Maybe Klodi has found Shangri-La?

Lol CN really messes up their race reports. Oops can I say that on this forum?
