Scarponi might get back. Maybe a flat hunger, said Savoldelli.
Team Movistar: Pardilla and Intxausti.

Pace was high guys. Look at the gaps.

Everyone waiting for the Mortirolo/Stelvio double it seems.

Basso will push it on Alpe di Pampeago stage. Just like 2010 they have 2 stages. They will try on the first so that if it doesnt work out, they still have the next day to try again.

Of course Hesjedal is a good rider, and I even tipped him to do well here! Just not this well. He really only has one solid GT GC result before this.

I'm just saying that besides Basso (Pre-Fuentes), only Hesjadel and Rodriguez have really done anything at the Tour.

I would always bet on TDF Specialists to ride higher up in the Giro because, quite frankly...

Scarponi and post-Fuentes Basso aren't really that impressive.

That, and the types of climbs he has been good at in the past are not typical Giro climbs of recent years. Of course, Zomegnan's not doing it these days, but this is a proper Zomegnan climb. Hesjedal being among the best on Cervinia = not too surprising. Hesjedal being among the best on Giau = really impressive.
