As said before, wind will play no role today:
And even with stronger wind, it still would play no special role on this route.
Most typical winds are from north west, just as today. The peleton leaves the west coast with more than 100k to go. And from the GPM-bump in Lemvig its 80+ km tail-wind to the finish.
Now, IF the route had been designed counter-clockwise with a finish in Ringkøbing and a bit more winds, then we could talk about wind induced carnage to the peleton and sure exciting racing.
Edit: Or better; a clock-wise route from Herning, down to Esbjerg and a finish in Ringkøbing. But of course all depends of bids and negotiations with neighbour cities.
The only exciting moments of today are how many crashes we will see at the few narrow roads towards Herning. And, of course, the final sprint.
