aybe he is trying to avoid traffic, wind, fighting for position, crashes in the peleton. It may not be a bad decision to ride in front for a rider like him ;) Beeing in a break does not mean that you must give 100%

rubiano has no problems riding in a peloton. just look up his results in one day races. I guess he went for gpm jersey which he may wera now tomorrow

Hm, no, why? I've missed something?

He won his stage in the Vuelta, I think it was stage 18 or somewhere around there because all the other guys (aka sagan) took the wrong turn around the roundabout and because the other sprinters (cav and co.) had gone home. So 2 points he will only really have a chance on stage 18 as that is the only sprinting stage when in all probability all the other sprinters (bar bennatti) would have gone home and he will also need some luck like he got in the Vuelta.

Notice the huge amounts of spectators at the worlds smallest KOM sprint. Very picturesque surroundings in general.

Wow, news just came in that the mayor of Horsens, where the stage tomorrow takes place, was hit by a heart attack today and has passed away. Might affect the stage 3 tomorrow.
