Not sure. From replay, Cavendish was clearly quickest and closing rapidly.

GE timed the leadout very well. That Cavendish is scary fast is another matter.

LOL @ cavendish. ferrari _O_

also very strong haedo and goss

Of course, you being a total pratt, would find it funny.

Androni lunatic had a free run on the barriers and switches
right across the whole bunch.
Harmon reckons Phinney has broken his ankle as a result.

:eek:Ferrari. More like a bleedin Lada.

He was directly responsible for the end of Phinney's Giro in pink and he should be outta there no doubt. Crazy!

I think Ferrari haven't seen Cav there, he just wanted a good position, and he was overmotivated :(

In a sprint no one looks to harm the riders:rolleyes:.
They just try to do the best, what some sprinters need to realise is that their best can not come at any cost.

Certainly looked like it broke. I'm too squeamish to watch it a second time to confirm.

Phinney in the ambulance. I doubt he continues. :(

If he didn't finish the stage, he can't, even if he miraculously felt better.

Which means he can't rest with the pink either. THomas in MR?

Phinney's ankle was in all sorts of positions, it can only be broken, hope he recovers from that, it looked horrible.

NO way Phinney can continue this race. That ankle is broken really hard.

Hopefully it's like Mosquera in the '09 Vuelta in Liège - similar kind of thing. He was helped over the line by two teammates, his ankle apparently swollen to double size, but the rest day was next, and he was able to recover and continue.

If Cav had done that you'd be screaming bloody murder from the rooftops. People who are happy to see other people crash have no place in cycling

With their sporty shapes and small rear windows, Ferraris are notoriously difficult cars to see what's around you. Looks like Roberto fits that just fine, since he was probably wearing blinkers right there.

LOL? That's your reaction to riders going down? Grow up.
Yes, I can imagine that would be his reaction, were it Rujano on his way to hospital.
If I didn't know better, I'd think he were 4.
