So it's Boaro, Clement, Pagani and De Negri in the break,

they will battle it out against Stannard, Thomas, Flecha and Eisel!

And Henao - haven't you read the last 8 threads?

Surely Sky could offer some favours to get Greenedge to work? they still have someone left don't they?

They have 5 riders left, and no real sprinter. Beppu their best bet.

Farnese Vini having De Negri in the break is bad for Sky.

To differing degrees I'm sure Katusha, FDJ, Androni, OPQS, Movistar would all rather it came to a sprint than not.

But then the other teams would probably want it to come to a sprint with Sky being as tired as possible to give their sprinter the best chance of winning. Maybe they will hardly help at all unless it looks like the break will stay away.

The battle of the grins, mark II.

The rabbity, Cheech and Chong grin of Ferrari against

The restructured, rebuilt grin of mighty Cav

The break is gone, but the average race speed is still climbing. Now, well over 50kph.
OPQS and FDJ helping out up front.
Ryo will be pleased to know that Sean Kelly says Henao will definitely get the day off.

Are Sky about to take a dangerous gamble?
Seems they are after taking the break back and contesting the IS.

Massive split in the peloton, caused by Sky roping in the break.
Might not be the predictable damp squib after all.
