Understatement of the year!

Indeed. Stannard is a complete monster of a rider. Stannard spent more time leading the peleton than any other so far This Giro.

Hunt has done a lot on the front too, would be quite close between them!

Stage has been going 2.5 hours i think. Going to be very close to 3 hours for the 150km

EDIT: Or 139km, thread title is wrong.

I was disapponted Sky took Hunt over Russ Downing for this year (not that its an exact choice between em, but its hard not to make an either/or).

Hunt certainly worked hard until he dropped out, and one can hardly fault his reason for dropping out either. So he did make a strong case for why they went with him.

Somebody tweet Harmon to explain how there are 2 different competitions, at least, using the intermediate sprints and he should know that.
Corrected himself on the sly with no reference to his previous statements. Sounded contrite though.

Impressed by Sky that they kept it very nicely today and get intermediate points and it looks like a possible win too.

I'm going to guess by the number of posts in here that the stage is too entertaining to stop and post about.

FWIW I just went by the Giro website. Where does 139 come from?
