Gesink and Hesjedal's attack had just been brought back, I'm not sure they even knew EBH was there.

Unfortunately, due to them both riding La Vuelta, we won't be seeing Gesink, coming all over Gilbert, this year.:p

The only downside is that some guys don't seem to have any interest in the race ( Nuyens, Casar...)

Also, my bet for today (more like hope) is Gallopin.

He's waiting until he wins the whole thing to do the arms in the air victory salute. :D

Although, he has to face Goss, and Matthews in the 1/4 finales, That's going to be a hard one to win.

Are they really just eliminating one rider per race in this round?

EDIT: I see, it is just three riders per race in the semifinals, so the top two go through again.

Commentators here were speculating that the other 3 let him go because they knew they would have a hard 1/4 final if they finished first.
