Do you think Gilbert should try to bridge to the chase group at some point, and benefit from Meersman's help? Or is the pace-setting strategy they have adopted now going to work?

Gilbert should wait till the last time they hit the Cauberg and jump near the end of the steep part, and hold the wheels of the others trying to attack there. He then will have Boonen behind, so he isn't forced to do all the pace setting. IMO

Gilbert is going to do what Vos did yesterday ... jump across to a man in the break. Then Meersman will ride. Gilbert won't wait till the last lap imo

Belgium need to ride keep the gap bridgable
