this yellow helmet crap is bs.

Personally, I think that yellow shorts to "compliment" the maillot jeune takes some beating in the pug ugly stakes.

Tony Martin is not a happy bunny.

Why would he do that when he doesnt want yellow so early on?

He said after the Prologue that he would have taken Yellow if it had come to him. He did want it. Brails tried to make out they didn't want it and BW said otherwise.

But clearly it has worked out better this way.

Now the ticker says both Morkov and Edet have 1 point, no mention of Urtasun... weird.

there was some confusion about it and the jury took it's time to decide ;-)

Yates -

“It’s suitable for ‘Eddie’ and we’d like him to have a go but there are other things to consider: mainly keeping Bradley out of trouble but also allowing ‘Cav’ to fight for positioning.”

So I'm guessing Cav will be in Eddy's wheel, with a faint presumption he gets dropped at some point, but he can go for it if he survives.

Because in the good old days they didn't think, they'd just go berserk! In the very old days they didn't even have teams. Wiggo should go on an win this on his own!

Hopefully Samu and Frank will have a go on the next category 4, try and make up some of the time they are going to lose in the time trials. That would have happened in the good old days.
I would love to see this. But on a category 4 climb, he wouldn't get far.

I think it's better to hope Samu and Frank attack in the bigger mountains the way AC and AS did last year. That would be great to see, and like the good old days.
