He got dropped near the top, so wouldn't be surprised if he is in the group. Valverde was there too. Didn't see him though, but didn't pay attention either.

he managed to hang on till the top, just came back to the front with Valverde (I think)

I think he reconnected in the descent of the colombier maybe.

then the pace on the climb must have been slow as he was being dropped with over 10k of climbing to go when i left :eek:

Evans looks like he is already riding for second. Which is ironic as he may lose it to Froome in the final TT and to Nibali on a descent in a later stage.

No one seems interested in taking a real risk in a real attack to put Sky under pressure.
