Incredible. You see Wiggins spinning along and Gesink, who has a similar spinning style, if not faster, drops from the back, behind Chavanel and Gilbert...

No one is hurting SKY at the moment. They'll last another mountain with ease.

Is this the same side of the Madeleine where Conti and Andy broke the race apart?

Gesink pops...

Oh why do you continue this fruitless journey?

Pffff Rabobank pull out Gesink and Mollema. This is so incredibly pointless.

Ruijgh and Westra abandon... Great Tour for the Dutch, most starters in 20 years.. and most are crap now

Mollema and van Hummel are behind the bus, so they are likely to also be added to the laundry list of DNF or abandons.

Hadn't he said that he wouldn't make the same mistake as last year and that if he wasn't good he would pull out?

Mollema is puzzling, but he also sucked last year and then did great at the Vuelta. Plus, I think he crashed? Maybe the Tour doesn't suit him or something, although it's too early to tell.

You think he crashed? Mollema looks like a mummy for almost a week now. He even had bleeding through his wounds during the time trial...Lol.
Verhoeven said that Mollema would have normally abandoned if it wasn't the Tour
