I still can see Wiggins crack somewhere in the 3rd week after seeing today.

But then Froome will take over... Sky reign supreme

I'm dying to see Froome attack over Aspin/Peyresourde and win the Tour

A bit sad about what happened to Cadel today but C'est la vie. Van Garderen did really well today and at least Cadel had a go.

Another Groundbreaking tactic from SKY. Have a better climber than your team leader as the super domestique.

Groundbreaking? More like yet another hark back to the Lance days, when he had to ask Heras to slow it down a little in 2002 while Beloki was murdering himself just to hang in.

Just can't comprehend it yet. Froome looked toasted, comes back and does a pull then goes back again. And then: Vroooooom, brings back Nibali et al. and boom vroom - an attack. Final kilometers, pure timetrialing and in the end a superstrong sprint.

I mean: WTF!

He is getting older and it is showing now. Still a good dig and try today. Quality rider!

Cadel had a terrible day plus that pointless attack at 60km made it even worse.
Hopefully he will try to get a stage win now.

On the bright side though TJVG was freaking impressive today!
Plus he had to make a big effort earlier on to to set up that cadel attack.
He proved me wrong about his climbing.
With consistency he is a real GC contender for the future.

Maybe he was playing a psychological game ... and not with the other teams, but with Wiggins himself!!!

He fakes a blow up, makes Wiggins have to chase on his own, catches up again, and then attacks Wiggins.

But then the team calls him back ...

Maybe the motor in his bike (ala the one Spartacus used to use), was having a few mechanical issues

He just didn't have it this year.

It is hard to disagree with you. The fact that he has been saying that 'I am getting better every day' says that he isn't where he should have been. It is a shame for the team and hopefully he can regain a podium spot when they go into the Pyrenees but I am not sure about that. It hurts more when it is Wiggins winning.

I hope Contador stomps Froome for years in the Tour just to show him that you should never waste an opportunity to win the Tour.

As for Wiggins, congratulations on your pro wrestling title.

Meaningless victory.

Feel bad for froome I wonder if he is getting tired of this.
Last year at the vuelta he could have won if they worked for froome instead of wiggins.
